Substance Painter 1.6 – 3D Painting
The main idea behind this update was to make the texturing process in Substance Painter an even smoother experience. To do so, we greatly improved the performance of 4K painting, and we simplified the material layering workflow with new drag and drop features. For example, when drag-and-dropping a material in the layer stack while pressing Ctrl (CMD on Mac) it will create a fill layer with a mask, allowing you to paint instantly.
